Call Crisis Cleanup for Assistance
Crisis Cleanup helps connect survivors who need help, with volunteer groups who can help. Crisis Cleanup only opens for large disasters. The yellow box at the top of their website will tell you which disasters they are currently coordinating, and the phone number to call. Crisis Cleanup is not for emergency services. Muck & Gut Guide
The mucking and gutting process is one of the first steps in the rebuilding process after a storm. This phase of construction consists of removing damaged belongings from the home, removing damaged construction materials, and prepping the home for mold treatment. This process presents a set of health hazards, which protecting oneself against potential injuries or illnesses is extremely important.
